Thursday Thirteen - I'm so excited!

05/03/07 Thirteen Things Marcia's excited over! 1. Another huge RV show to walk around and more RVs to confuse me with. 2. Script Frenzy's website is up! 3. Leon and I signed up to write our first stage play - together!! (oh, move over stubborn personalities, we need to work together and quickly!) 4. Leon remembered a few scenes from my first (and in progress) novel and suggested we work around that! 5. That is a great idea because the location of the scene means it could be produced both as a black box or fully dressed stage. 6. That is a great idea because we can use Andre and John from my novel as starting points! 7. That is a great idea because the location allows just about anything in life to happen there from the most bizarre to the most mundane. (Hmm, Leon is a great comedic actor. . . but loves action thrillers and drama, too. Where will it lead? I am more the romance type.) 8. That is a great idea because the location allows for characters from nearly any walk of life to show up there. Why, it could be one of y'all for all I know. 9. I know that Leon could easily be a writer, and I got a glimpse that the thought was successfully planted in his mind. I may have been the catalyst once again in his life! (I signed him up for his first acting class, then told him.) 10. A friend has for all practical purposes recreated a major portion of her life. She rocks! 11. I've found the two future stars who would throw me into a depression if anything ever happened to them (a la Elvis): Melinda Doolittle and Blake Lewis. 12. I managed to write more than a poem a day for NaPoWriMo - I never forgot! (That is a major thing, the not forgetting, I mean.) 13. I did my first podcast of my second Flash Fiction attempt recently. It doesn't matter that it broke some rules (that beginning middle end thing maybe) or that is not perfect, I took that first baby step and I even cried a bit! Get the Thursday Thirteen code here!
